Marie Greer

My name is Marie, and I'm a huge fan of both Balanced and Fear Free dog training.

I've loved dogs since the first time I met one. I grew up with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, the Maryland State dog. They are unique and head strong dogs, and challenged me to be a better trainer. When I was 12 years old, I won a trick competition at Petco with my dog Spike, and I was hooked. I've been training dogs for fun since then, and dabbled in training professionally for 12years. I do a lot of Continuing Education training through dog training organizations like the Karen Pryor Academy, Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and Fear Free/CEVA.

I'm also passionate about Veterinary Medicine. I went to Coastal Carolina, and I've been a certified Veterinary Technician for 10 years. I have my Fear Free Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and

Elite Certificates. I really enjoy Tracking, Noseworks, Frisbee, Agility, hiking with my dog and Canicross.
